About Matthew Velasco

Matthew is a Chartered Physiotherapist (MCSP) providing home visits across the whole of Oxfordshire. He helps people recover after surgery, illness or a fall, ease pain, and get back to moving confidently — walking, managing stairs, and returning to the activities of everyday life.

He has worked with Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust on the Discharge to Assess (HomeFirst) pathway, supporting people in their own homes after a hospital stay, alongside experience in musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapy. This means he is equally at home with everyday aches and pains and with more involved recoveries after a hospital admission.

Matthew's approach is calm, patient and built around clear, shared decisions. He supports adults with muscle and joint pain, post-operative rehabilitation, reduced mobility, falls risk, and confidence walking indoors and out — building a plan that fits each person's home, goals and pace.
