About Hamoodi Othman
Hamoodi is a Senior Physiotherapist who visits people at home across South Yorkshire. He specialises in helping people get back on their feet after surgery, injury or a fall — easing pain, rebuilding strength, and helping you move and walk with confidence again.
With an MSc in Physiotherapy and years of NHS hospital experience at Sheffield, Barnsley and Rotherham, Hamoodi has helped many people recover after major operations such as hip and knee replacements and after hip fractures, as well as people living with long-standing back, neck, knee and shoulder pain.
He uses proven, practical methods to get results — gentle pain relief, exercises to restore movement and strength, and walking practice to rebuild a safe, steady stride. Where it supports your recovery, he can also use specialist rehabilitation equipment to ease pain and measure your progress, so you can see how far you have come.
Hamoodi treats a wide range of needs including recovery after surgery, everyday aches and injuries, neurological conditions, falls and balance problems, and long-term pain. He takes time to understand your personal goals, looks at how you manage in your own home, and builds a tailored plan to help you recover and stay independent. Hamoodi also speaks fluent Arabic.
