About Chez Williams

Chez comes to you. She is a physiotherapist who visits people at home across Hertfordshire, so there is no clinic to get to, no parking to find and no waiting room. Whether you are in pain, getting over an injury or an operation, or finding it harder to get about than you used to, treatment happens in your own home, at a pace that suits you.

She has been a physiotherapist for 11 years, in the NHS and in private practice. Her specialist area is muscles, joints and nerve-related pain: a bad back or neck, a sore knee, hip or shoulder, an injury that has not settled, arthritis, or pain that has gone on for a long time. She uses hands-on treatment alongside clear, simple exercises, and explains what is going on so you know how to look after it between visits.

Chez has also worked in elderly rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation and orthopaedics, and since 2022 she has treated people in their own homes and in care homes. Seeing you at home means the plan fits real life: your own stairs, your own chair and the walk to the shops.

She is also qualified in acupuncture and sports massage, and uses them where they will help.

Whatever brings you to Chez, the first step is a free phone call to talk it through. She will tell you honestly if physiotherapy is not the right answer.
