About Ben Harrison

Ben comes to you. He is a physiotherapist who visits people at home across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire, so there is no clinic to get to, no parking to find and no waiting room. Whether you are in pain, recovering from an operation, getting over a stroke or simply finding it harder to get about than you used to, treatment happens in your own home, at a pace that suits you.

Much of his work is with muscles and joints: a painful back or neck, a sore knee or shoulder, or an injury that has not settled. He uses hands-on treatment alongside clear, simple exercises, and explains what is going on so you know how to look after it yourself between visits.

He also helps people get moving again after a hip or knee replacement, after a stroke, or after an illness that has left them weaker. Seeing you at home means the plan fits real life: your own stairs, your own chair, the step at the back door and the walk to the shops.

Away from home visits, he provides volunteer physiotherapy support at Farsley Celtic Women's Football Club, looking after players' injuries on the pitch and helping them through rehabilitation and back to playing.

Whatever brings you to Ben, the first step is a free phone call to talk it through. He will tell you honestly if physiotherapy is not the right answer.
