About Rachel's Lincolnshire service

Rachel Butt is a chartered physiotherapist (MCSP) and HCPC registered practitioner providing home physiotherapy across Lincolnshire, and runs an independent practice, Stamford Physiotherapy, which she founded in Stamford. Her work is musculoskeletal: back pain and sciatica, neck and shoulder problems, hip and knee pain, sports injuries, arthritis and recovery after an operation.

Rachel qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2017 and spent four years in the NHS with Dynamic Health, working up from Band 5 to Band 6 in musculoskeletal outpatient services at Hinchingbrooke Hospital and in Peterborough. Her Band 6 caseload was largely chronic back pain, and she helped develop and deliver a persistent pain management programme. She also trained alongside the pelvic health team, and is one of a small number of physiotherapists who treat pregnancy-related musculoskeletal pain.

Since moving into private practice she has worked extensively with acute sporting injuries, and now provides musculoskeletal triage and treatment for local sports teams and MSK support for local employers. She is acupuncture trained and holds a Level 3 sports massage qualification. Rachel assesses and diagnoses directly, so there is no waiting for a GP referral before treatment can start, and her approach pairs hands-on treatment with a specific, progressive exercise plan so improvement continues between appointments.
