About Stephen Hayward
Stephen is an HCPC registered physiotherapist providing private home physiotherapy across County Durham and Teesside. His background combines musculoskeletal rehabilitation, sports injury care, occupational health, return-to-work planning and post-operative recovery.
He has worked in professional sport as Head Physiotherapist at Hartlepool United Football Club and Featherstone Rovers Rugby League, alongside roles in occupational health, first-contact physiotherapy, prison healthcare and military rehabilitation. That breadth is useful for home visits because treatment often needs to connect pain, strength, work demands, confidence, walking and everyday function.
