About Brian Cervera
Brian is a Senior Physiotherapist who visits people at home across Wrexham and Flintshire. The focus is on getting you moving again after injury, surgery or a flare-up of long-standing pain — easing symptoms, rebuilding strength, and giving you a clear plan you can manage yourself.
Brian qualified with First Class Honours from Wrexham University and has worked as a Senior MSK Outpatients and Orthopaedic Physiotherapist with Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board in Denbigh, assessing and treating musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and neurological conditions, triaging referrals and supervising staff and students. Earlier NHS rotations in Wrexham covered MSK outpatients, orthopaedics, paediatrics, respiratory and domiciliary physiotherapy.
Alongside NHS work, Brian has run a private physiotherapy and massage clinic in Wrexham since 2017, and is an External Examiner for BSc Physiotherapy students at Wrexham University. Treatment combines hands-on techniques — including certified spinal manipulation and mobilisation, sports massage and taping — with graded, evidence-based exercise and practical self-management advice.
Care is person-centred and holistic: Brian looks at the physical, psychological and social factors affecting your recovery, sets goals with you rather than for you, and works to leave you confident managing things independently. Consultations are available in English, Spanish and Catalan.
