About Thomas Blishen

Thomas is an HCPC registered physiotherapist and the owner of Thomas Patrick Physiotherapy, providing home visits across Greater Manchester. He helps people recover after surgery, injury, illness or a fall — rebuilding strength, movement and the confidence to manage day-to-day life at home.

He currently works as a Specialist Orthopaedic Physiotherapist at Spire Hospital, managing elective orthopaedic, inpatient, critical care, day case and paediatric caseloads. His NHS background includes a Band 5 rotational post at Trafford General Hospital and a specialist mental health physiotherapy role on the Moorside Unit, where he was the sole physiotherapist covering two wards. Through Thomas Patrick Physiotherapy, Thomas also runs his own home-visit physiotherapy service.

This mix means he is equally confident treating an elective or trauma orthopaedic recovery, a musculoskeletal problem, or helping someone rebuild balance, walking and confidence at home. Thomas prides himself on his communication and interpersonal skills, and on building practical, patient-centred plans around each person's goals and pace.
