Community home-based physiotherapy

What we do

We bring expert physiotherapy to your home. Whether you're recovering from surgery, managing a long-term condition, or looking to improve your mobility and confidence, we provide personalised assessment and treatment in the comfort of your own environment.

Home-based physiotherapy means we can see how you move in your actual living space, assess any obstacles or challenges, and tailor your programme to what's practical and achievable for you.

Who it helps

  • Older adults who find it difficult to travel to a clinic
  • Post-operative patients recovering from hip, knee, or other surgeries
  • People with mobility challenges who benefit from assessment in their home environment
  • Anyone seeking personalised care in a familiar, comfortable setting

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a GP referral?

No, you can book directly with us for private physiotherapy. However, if you have a GP referral or consultant letter, please bring it to your first appointment as it provides useful background information.

How long is a home visit?

Initial assessments typically last 45–60 minutes. Follow-up appointments are usually 30 or 60 minutes depending on your needs.

What should I prepare for the first visit?

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Have a list of any medications you're taking. If you have recent X-rays, scan reports, or hospital letters, have them ready to show us.

Do you provide equipment?

We can advise on walking aids, frames, and other equipment. If you need something, we'll recommend where to get it and how to use it safely.
