About Vidhi Sharma

Vidhi is an HCPC registered specialist neurological physiotherapist providing home visits across Northamptonshire. With over 15 years' experience across the NHS and specialist neuro-rehabilitation settings, she helps people recover and rebuild their independence after a stroke, a brain or spinal cord injury, a neurological diagnosis, surgery, a fall or a period in hospital.

Her senior roles include specialist neurological physiotherapy at PJ Care and at Grafton Manor's neurobehavioural rehabilitation unit, where she supported people living with complex conditions such as stroke, traumatic and acquired brain injury, Parkinson's, Huntington's disease, dementia and long-term neurological disability. She has also worked as a senior locum physiotherapist in CNWL NHS Trust's community falls prevention service and in NHS intermediate care, carrying out multifactorial falls assessments and home-based rehabilitation.

Alongside her neurological specialism, Vidhi has broad experience in falls prevention, elderly rehabilitation, complex postural management and wheelchair seating, and rehabilitation after joint replacement surgery. She has completed advanced training including Bobath, LSVT BIG for Parkinson's, functional electrical stimulation (FES) and stroke rehabilitation, and also provides physiotherapy in care and nursing homes.
