About Vidhi Sharma
Vidhi comes to you. She is a physiotherapist who visits people at home across Northamptonshire, and most of the people she sees are older adults who want to get back on their feet after a stroke, a fall, an operation or a spell in hospital. There is no clinic to get to and no waiting room. The work happens on your own stairs, in your own kitchen and on your own street, which is where it matters.
She has been doing this kind of work for more than fifteen years, in NHS hospitals and community teams and in specialist rehabilitation units. She has helped people who have had a stroke or a brain injury, people living with Parkinson's or dementia, and people who have simply become unsteady or lost their confidence. She also spent time in the NHS falls prevention service, visiting people at home to work out why they were falling and what would stop it.
Vidhi helps with joints, muscles and recovery after surgery as well. She trained in orthopaedic rehabilitation and in the care that follows a hip or knee replacement, so if you have a painful knee or shoulder, arthritis, or you have just come home after an operation or a fracture, she can help with that too.
She has a calm, reassuring manner and takes time to understand what matters most to you, then builds a plan around your abilities, your home and your life. Whether you are working towards walking again after a stroke, managing a long-term condition, or simply want to feel steadier on your feet, the first step is a free phone call to talk it through.
