The opportunity in Chester-le-Street

We're looking for an experienced, HCPC registered physiotherapist to cover Chester-le-Street and surrounding areas as a self-employed mobile physiotherapist.

Chester-le-Street sits between Durham and Gateshead on the A167, a market town with a large commuter and retired population and quick links north and south.

Chester-le-Street already has its own page on our site, along with the rest of County Durham, so the local search groundwork is done and the area is ready to pick up.

What you get

  • Your own dedicated area: Cover Chester-le-Street and nearby areas including Pelton, Ouston, Great Lumley, Sacriston, Birtley and Plawsworth
  • All payments direct to you: Patients pay you directly — no commission or per-appointment fees
  • Established brand: Use the Mobile Physiotherapist brand for invoices, business cards, and online presence
  • Web pages that already exist: Local area pages built and optimised for search, updated to carry your name and details
  • Professional support: Access to branded materials, Facebook presence, and a network of fellow physiotherapists
  • Be your own boss: Set your own hours, choose your caseload, work the way that suits you

What we're looking for

  • HCPC Registered physiotherapist
  • CSP Member (or willing to join)
  • Experience in community or home-based physiotherapy
  • Confident working independently with a varied caseload
  • Own transport and ability to travel within Chester-le-Street and surrounding areas
  • Professional indemnity insurance (or willing to obtain)
  • DBS checked (or willing to obtain)
