Who creates our content

Our health and rehabilitation pages are created with input from qualified physiotherapists across the Mobile Physiotherapist network. Where a page discusses a specialist product, service or clinical topic, we aim to make the reviewer context clear on the page itself.

Many of our pages are reviewed in the context of home physiotherapy, neurological rehabilitation, walking practice, falls prevention, mobility equipment and day-to-day rehabilitation needs. We also link to relevant therapist profiles where a named clinician has direct expertise in the topic.

How we review health information

Before publication, rehabilitation content is checked for practical clarity, clinical sense and reader safety. We look for plain English explanations, realistic next steps, appropriate signposting to GP or specialist care, and clear distinction between general information and individual assessment.

Health information can change, and the right advice depends on the person. Our pages are intended to support understanding, not replace an assessment by a GP, physiotherapist, consultant, orthotist or other appropriate healthcare professional.

Product and commercial content

Some pages discuss products, including the OrthoPed Foot Drop Splint. Product pages are written to explain what the product is, what it is designed to do, how it is ordered and how it fits into wider rehabilitation choices.

Where a page has a commercial purpose, we still aim to keep the information clear, fair and useful. We avoid promising outcomes that cannot be guaranteed, and we keep safety or suitability guidance where it matters.

Sources and evidence

We use a combination of clinical knowledge, professional experience, published healthcare guidance, product documentation and reputable healthcare organisations. Where a page depends on a named product, study or manufacturer claim, we aim to phrase this clearly so readers can tell what comes from the product information and what is general physiotherapy context.

Updates and corrections

We review important rehabilitation and product pages when information changes, when a page is expanded, or when feedback suggests that wording could be clearer. Pages usually show a last updated date where the content is medical, rehabilitative or product-specific.

If you spot something that appears unclear, outdated or incorrect, please email office@mobilephysiotherapist.co.uk with the page URL and the detail you would like us to check.
