Physio Jobs in Wrexham
Self-employed mobile physiotherapy opportunities across Wrexham
Take on an established area in Wrexham
We are looking for an experienced, HCPC registered physiotherapist to cover towns across Wrexham as a self-employed mobile physiotherapist.
Wrexham is an established area for us, not a new one. A full set of town and service pages is already live and indexed across the county, and it sits next to Flintshire, Cheshire West and Shropshire, so it connects to coverage we already run rather than standing on its own.
The county pairs a compact city centre with a dense ring of former mining and industrial villages - Rhosllanerchrugog, Coedpoeth, Brymbo, Gwersyllt - and a rural south towards Chirk and the Ceiriog Valley. Travel times between them are short, and demand for home visits is strongest among older residents in the villages and in the areas around the city.
Towns we're recruiting for
Select a town to find out more about the opportunity in your area.
The role also covers surrounding areas including Ruabon, Johnstown, Penycae, Acrefair, Cefn Mawr, Holt, Marchwiel, Bangor-on-Dee, Overton, Minera and Rossett.
Why Wrexham?
- The groundwork is done: Wrexham already has a full set of local town and service pages on our site, live and indexed, so you are not starting from an empty search result.
- Next to our existing coverage: Wrexham borders Flintshire, Cheshire West and Shropshire, so it sits inside the patch we already run rather than off on its own.
- Steady referral sources: Patients often come home from Wrexham Maelor Hospital, the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital at Gobowen, Chirk Community Hospital and Countess of Chester Hospital needing rehabilitation to continue.
- One physiotherapist per county: The area is yours. We do not put two people in the same patch.
What you get
- Your own dedicated area: Cover your patch of Wrexham with no internal competition
- All payments direct to you: Patients pay you directly — no commission or per-appointment fees
- Established brand: Use the Mobile Physiotherapist brand for invoices, business cards, and online presence
- Web pages that already exist: Local area pages built and optimised for search, updated to carry your name and details
- Professional support: Access to branded materials, Facebook presence, and a network of fellow physiotherapists
- Be your own boss: Set your own hours, choose your caseload, work the way that suits you
What we're looking for
- HCPC Registered physiotherapist
- CSP Member (or willing to join)
- Experience in community or home-based physiotherapy
- Confident working independently with a varied caseload
- Own transport and ability to travel within your area of Wrexham
- Professional indemnity insurance (or willing to obtain)
- DBS checked (or willing to obtain)
