Take on an established area in Teesside

We are looking for an experienced, HCPC registered physiotherapist to cover towns across Teesside as a self-employed mobile physiotherapist.

Teesside is an established area for us, with town and service pages already live across Middlesbrough, Stockton, Hartlepool and Redcar. It borders County Durham and North Yorkshire, so it can be run alongside County Durham by one physiotherapist or taken on its own.

The area is compact and densely populated, built around the Tees: Middlesbrough and Stockton at the centre, Hartlepool and Billingham to the north, Redcar and Saltburn on the coast, and the market towns of Yarm and Guisborough at the edges. Journeys between them are short, so a home-visit caseload is easy to plan, and demand is strongest among older residents and people back home after an operation.

Towns we're recruiting for

Select a town to find out more about the opportunity in your area.

The role also covers surrounding areas including Ingleby Barwick, Eaglescliffe, Eston, Normanby, Nunthorpe, Marton, Marske-by-the-Sea, Saltburn, Stokesley, Great Ayton, Norton and Seaton Carew.

Why Teesside?

  • The groundwork is done: Teesside already has a full set of local town and service pages on our site, live and indexed, so you are not starting from an empty search result.
  • Next to our existing coverage: Teesside borders County Durham and North Yorkshire, and can be run alongside County Durham or taken on its own.
  • Steady referral sources: Patients often come home from The James Cook University Hospital, the University Hospital of North Tees, the University Hospital of Hartlepool, Redcar Primary Care Hospital and Friarage Hospital in Northallerton needing rehabilitation to continue.
  • One physiotherapist per county: The area is yours. We do not put two people in the same patch.

What you get

  • Your own dedicated area: Cover your patch of Teesside with no internal competition
  • All payments direct to you: Patients pay you directly — no commission or per-appointment fees
  • Established brand: Use the Mobile Physiotherapist brand for invoices, business cards, and online presence
  • Web pages that already exist: Local area pages built and optimised for search, updated to carry your name and details
  • Professional support: Access to branded materials, Facebook presence, and a network of fellow physiotherapists
  • Be your own boss: Set your own hours, choose your caseload, work the way that suits you

What we're looking for

  • HCPC Registered physiotherapist
  • CSP Member (or willing to join)
  • Experience in community or home-based physiotherapy
  • Confident working independently with a varied caseload
  • Own transport and ability to travel within your area of Teesside
  • Professional indemnity insurance (or willing to obtain)
  • DBS checked (or willing to obtain)
