Physio Jobs in Merseyside
Self-employed mobile physiotherapy opportunities across Merseyside
Join our growing team in Merseyside
We are looking for experienced, HCPC registered physiotherapists to cover towns across Merseyside as self-employed mobile physiotherapists.
Merseyside sits directly alongside our existing coverage in Cheshire West, Greater Manchester and Lancashire, so it is a natural next step for us rather than a jump into unfamiliar territory.
The county combines dense urban areas around Liverpool and the Wirral with established residential and coastal communities such as Southport, Formby and West Kirby, where demand for home-visit physiotherapy among older adults is consistently strong.
Towns we're recruiting for
Select a town to find out more about the opportunity in your area.
The role also covers surrounding areas including Formby, West Kirby, Heswall, Crosby, Maghull, Kirkby, Newton-le-Willows, Rainhill and the surrounding areas.
Why Merseyside?
- A new area for us: Merseyside is a fresh patch, so whoever joins takes it on from the start with no internal competition.
- Next to our existing coverage: Merseyside sits directly alongside our existing coverage in Cheshire West, Greater Manchester and Lancashire, so it is a natural next step for us rather than a jump into unfamiliar territory.
- Steady referral sources: Patients often come home from Royal Liverpool University Hospital, Aintree University Hospital, Arrowe Park Hospital, Whiston Hospital and Southport and Ormskirk Hospital needing rehabilitation to continue.
- Room to shape it: As the first physiotherapist in the county you help decide which towns we build out first.
What you get
- Your own dedicated area: Cover your patch of Merseyside with no internal competition
- All payments direct to you: Patients pay you directly — no commission or per-appointment fees
- Established brand: Use the Mobile Physiotherapist brand for invoices, business cards, and online presence
- Your own web pages: Dedicated area pages on our website, optimised for local search
- Professional support: Access to branded materials, Facebook presence, and a network of fellow physiotherapists
- Be your own boss: Set your own hours, choose your caseload, work the way that suits you
What we're looking for
- HCPC Registered physiotherapist
- CSP Member (or willing to join)
- Experience in community or home-based physiotherapy
- Confident working independently with a varied caseload
- Own transport and ability to travel within your area of Merseyside
